My ERC project (2012-2017) is recorded at https://architectureandasceticism.exeter.ac.uk and this considers aspects of the landscape and overland connections, also my more recent work with the Georgian National Museum on widening access to the Humanities for disadvantaged children has an environmental aspect as we are working with communities in remote areas (such as the High Caucasus or the southern plateau of Javakheti) whose history and culture has been shaped by their immediate environment. This work is currently the subject of a second AHRC research grant.
