I am currently working with a colleague Dr Alex Pryor on a study of the supply of meat to the urban communities living in Roman and medieval Exeter: this is a follow up to my recent study of Roman and medieval farming across the whole of the South-West published in S. Rippon and Neil Holbrook (eds) 2021, Roman and Medieval Exeter and Their Hinterlands: From Isca to Excester.
